Purpose of the School of Nursing
The purpose of the School of Nursing is to prepare competent professional
nurses who provide caring therapeutic interventions to meet the health needs of
culturally diverse persons.
Conceptual Framework for School of Nursing
The School of Nursing addresses six concepts. The four main concepts in
nursing are person, environment, health, and nursing. Two additional concepts
are professional nursing practice and educational process.
