Bio:

Kathy was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and lived there until she joined the United States Navy where she served eight years as a Hospital Corpsman with Fleet Hospital 500 Field Unit. She later moved to Jackson, Tennessee where she earned her Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration from Union University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Memphis with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus. Kathy is currently serving as Associate Dean and Assistant Professor of Nursing. She has many years of experience in administration and education with clinical focus areas that include: Medical-Surgical, Critical Care, Emergency Care, Wound/Ostomy Care, and Family Health. Kathy is married with three children and one grandchild. She is an active member of Fellowship Bible Church.
