Coach’s Comments. Tyler proved valuable as a freshman in 2004 with his speed on the bases. He was used mainly as a pinch/courtesy runner for Union. Also play some outfield. Tyler is a great athlete that can steal bases, play defense, and can grow into a good hitter during his career at Union.

Union Career. 2004...scored 32 runs and stold 14 of 19 bases for Union...apeared in 37 games.

Before Union. Tyler was named the West Tennessee’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2003. He played four sports at Greenfield HS including baseball, basketball, football, and golf. Tyler played on the 2003 state basketball runner-up team. In his senior year, Tyler was named All West Tennessee and Greenfield HS MVP in baseball, football, and basketball. He was also named to the All-State tournament team in basketball.
