Thomas hit .347 as a junior and was tied for the team lead in runs scored with 59 and with his 12 stolen bases…he is a solid defensive outfielder who emerged as a potent hitter in this Bulldog lineup …good bunter, good base runner…spent most of his junior season as the No. 2 hitter in the lineup. In both 2000 and 2001, Jed was selected as a Scholar Athlete. In high school, he was a four year first team All-Conference and was the 1999 conference Player of the Year.
