Coach’s Comments. Charlie is improtant to our team’s success. He can be a difference maker late in games. Has a good fall, but consistancy is the key for Charlie. His great work ethic will help him develop that consistancy.
Union Career. 2005...posted a 2-4 record with two saves...7.26 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 31.0 innings pitched

Before Union: Ligon transferred to Union from Southwest Tennesse CC where he posted a record of 2-2 last season with a 3.67 ERA. He tallied 34 strikeouts in 34 innings. Ligon aslo served as Southwest CC Team Captain. While at Munford HS, Ligon played both baseball and basketball. In his senior year at Munford, he was 3-3 with a 1.30 ERA, 39 strikeouts, and 43 innings pitched. He was a two-time All-District at Munford. Ligon also played summer league baseball for Dulins Dodgers in the summer of 2001. That summer, he helped lead Dulins to a 59-9 overall record and the AAU National runner-up.
