2010 Bulldog Baseball Player Profile

Before Union: Kirksey prepped at Ashbrook High School. While in high school, he played four seasons of baseball, three seasons of football, and one year of basketball. As a junior, he was named All-Conference and All-Tournament. Following his sophomore season, Kirksey was named the junior varsity MVP. Kirksey hit .333 with three home runs, six doubles, and 26 RBI. He also posted a 2.32 ERA and tallied 32 strikeouts in just over 45 innings pitched. Off the field, Kirksey was a member of the National Honor Roll and Who's Who Among American High School Students.
