Previous School: Troy University

Before Union: Luke transferred to Union from Troy University where he played one season of baseball. While at Troy, he recorded six stolen bases in limited action. Luke prepped at Briarwood Christian High School where he played baseball and football. As a senior, he hit .450 with 47 stolen bases. Luke was named Team Captain and MVP. In football, he received the Coaches' Award as a junior and the Offensive Award as a wide receiver during his senior season. Luke also helped lead his football team to the 2004 Alabama State Title. Off the fields, Luke was equally successful. He was a member of the National Honor Society and was named a Sun-Belt Academic Athlete.
