Previous School: Crockett County HS
Before Union: Hughes was a member of the cheerleading and tennis teams at Crockett County High School. In tennis she was named Best of the West as a senior. Hughes was also the cheerleading team captian during her senior year. She received an academic Letter and finished in the top 10 of her graduating class.
