The Bulldogs struck first on a goal by Kolo Goshi 32 minutes into the game. Then, just before halftime, Covanent scored twice to take a 2-1 lead at the break. Union failed to even the score as both teams swapped goals in the second half.
Scoring the two goals for Union were seniors Kolo Goshi and Josue Tuchez. Kyle McDiarmid and Grant Taylor added an assist apiece for the Bulldogs. Union senior goalie, Jeff Lean, made his first start of the season after recovering from a foot injury this offseason.
