Union trailed 1-0 at the half and after countless shots on goal, Union senior, Adrian Yeung tied the game with his third goal of the year. However, with six minutes remaining in the game, the Lions of Emmanual scored the game winning goal on a breakaway.
Emmanual shocked the hometown favorites with the 2-1 win, but more shocking was the fact that Union shot 42 times and tallied 17 shots on goal compared to the Lions three shots on goal. Coach White said, "We had plenty of opportunities to score and didn't." Union hit the cross bar on numerous occasions and the Lion's goalie record 10 saves on the night.
