Cliff Pawley joined the Union Athletic Training department in 2001 and has been the head trainer for the men’s basketball team since coming to Union. In the fall of 2005, he was promonted to ATEP Program Director after serving four years as the Director of Athletic Training Education here at Union. Pawley is originally from Elkville, Illinois.
Pawley earned his B.S. is Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Southern Illinois University and his Master of Education degree in Exercise Physiology form the University of Louisiana-Monroe. In 1990, Pawley was NATA Certified and is licensed by the Tennessee Board of Health.
Pawley is married to the former Christie Manasco of Amory, Mississippi. They are the proud parents their daughter, Bethany.
