Volleyball Player Named TranSouth Conference and Region Player
of the Week
Jackson, TN—Lauren Hayden, a junior from Bellville, IL,
was named TranSouth Athletic Conference and the Region XI
Volleyball player of the week. Hayden led the Lady Bulldogs to
a 4-1 week. In 16 games she tallied 86 kills, 76 digs, 9
blocks, and 8 aces and a .369 hitting percentage. Lauren
Hayden is leading the TranSouth Conference in three
categories, kills per game with 5.77, attack percentage of
.387, and digs per game with 4.68.
The Lady Bulldogs are currently 11-1 on the season and 1-0
in the conference. Union will host conference rival Freed
Hardeman University on Monday, September 18th at
7:00 PM.
