Jackson, TN—Sian Olszewski, a senior from Zimbabwe, took first place in the ITA Regional Tournament held here in Jackson this weekend. Sian Olszewski defeated Lady Bulldog teammate Petra Abraham by the score of 6-2, 6-2. This qualifies Sian for the National ITA Tournament. The National Tournament will be held at the Racquet Club of Memphis on October 19 – 22.

Union’s women’s doubles team of Sian Olszewski and Petra Abraham finish second in the doubles finals behind David Lipscomb University’s team of Bowman and Taylor. Union’s Jonathan Labella, a junior from Sweeden, finished second in the men’s singles finals.

The men’s qualifiers for the National tournament are Rento Mizutani of Freed Hardeman in Men’s singles, Hunt and Norman from David Lipscomb in Men’s doubles.
