Lady Bulldog Volleyball
Players receive TranSouth Honors
Jackson, TN—Lauren Hayden and Liz Travis were named TranSouth
Conference player and setter of the week respectively. Hayden and
Travis helped the Lady Bulldogs is capturing the NCCAA MidEast
Region Championship while going 5-0 on the week.
Hayden, a junior from Belleville, IL,
received this honor for the fifth time this season. For the week,
she averaged 6.66 kills and 3.0 digs per game with a .512 hitting
percentage.
Liz Travis, a sophomore form Phoenix, AZ,
averaged 10.73 assists and 2.0 digs per game with a .520 hitting
percentage. For Travis, this was her third conference setter of
the week honor this season.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Martin Methodist
tonight at 6:30 PM at Union and the finish the regular season on
the road next week with games at Freed Hardeman and Lambuth.
