Union Volleyball Tops Lambuth 3-2

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/18/2007 - the Union University volleyball team posted their third straight win on Thursday night with a 3-2 (30-27, 27-30, 30-21, 19-30, 17-15) win at Lambuth University (Tenn.). This win for Union moved their all-time series streak to 30-0. Union is now 15-5 on the season and 8-5 (4th Place) in the TranSouth. Lambuth dropped to 9-15 overall and 3-10 in the conference.

Union was led by Tiven Catrett with 14 kills, followed by CJ Neathamer with 13 and Amanda Hutchison Coyle with 12 kills. Jennifer Martins added 45 assists, Neathamer posted 22 digs, while Coyle and Catrett led with two blocks each.

Up next for Union will be a trip to Pulaski, Tenn. on Tuesday for a 7:00 pm match versus Martin Methodist College.
