JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/22/2008 - The Union University men's golf team opened their fall season on Saturday in the Cumberland (Tenn.) University Invitational at the Legacy Golf Course in Springfield, Tenn. Union placed second in the 18-hole shootout behind host Cumberland.
Milan, Tenn. native Mills Hamaguchi of Union won the individual title with an 18-hole score of 70.
Finishing out the Union scores were Tyler Lay 76, Ryan Chandler 78, Clay Mallard 79, and Brian Glover 80.
Up next for the Union men's golf team will be Murray State (Ky.) University on September 29-30 at the Miller Golf Course in Murray, Ky.
