Union Golf Places Sixth

Jackson, Tenn. - 10/16/2002 - Union University continued their good play this fall with a sixth place in the Mobile Fall Classic. The Bulldogs shot 313 on Monday and 308 on Tuesday for a 621 total. Conference foe, Berry College finished first with a two-day total of 592.

Jeff Reuter, a senior from Milwaulkee, Wisconsin, led all Union golfers with a total score of 149. Reuter finished tied for fourth overall in individual scores. Anthony McElroy shot a 154, Jeremy Hand shot a 159, Caleb Walker shot a 160, and Nathan Morris shot a 164.

Union will be playing their final tournament of the fall when they compete in the Freed-Hardeman University Fall Invitational. The tournament will be played at the Bear Trace Golf Course in Henderson, Tennessee on Monday and Tuesday, October 21-22, 2002.
