Union women's soccer falls 2-0 to Georgetown

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/11/2009 - The Union University women's soccer team had their two-match winning streak snapped on Friday night as Georgetown (Ky.) College clipped Union 2-0. Union dropped to 4-3 on the season, while Georgetown improved to 3-1.

Georgetown received goals from Ach and Pratt, while getting a shutout from goalie Brooke Terrell with six saves. Union out shot Georgetown 15-11, but could not score. Katie Moser recorded five saves for Union.

Up next for Union will be the third of seven straight home matches, and first TranSouth match of the 2009 season, when Lyon (Ark.) College comes to town on Tuesday, September 22 at 5:00 p.m.
