JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/24/2010 - The Union University basketball teams are again ranked among the nation's best in the latest NAIA rankings. Union's women extend their No. 1 rankings streak to 35 straight polls. The Union men drop one spot to No. 11.
Union's women are 28-1 on the season and 15-0 in the TranSouth. The Lady Bulldogs have already clinched their fourth straight TranSouth title. Union has won 21 straight games, 58 straight home games and 50 straight TranSouth regular season games.
Union's men drop out of the top 10 for the first time in two weeks. Union however, clinched their second straight TranSouth title this past week. Union is 22-7 overall and 13-2 in league play.
The teams end their regular season this week with a road game at Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University on Thursday, February 25.
