JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/22/2011 - The Union (Tenn.) University basketball teams have placed nine players on the TranSouth Conference Scholar Athlete lists. TranSouth Scholar Athletes are student-athletes that are at least a sophomore academically and have at least a 3.0 GPA.
The Union women that made the list include LaTesa McLaughlin (Millington, Tenn.), Hope Adams (Oxford, Miss.), Rebecca Sharpe (Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) and Kayla Hudson (Gleason, Tenn.).
The five Union men include Brady Sheppard (Milan, Tenn.), Daniel Kelley (Nashville, Tenn.), Roland Banharo (Burkina Faso), Antoine Hall (Douglasville, Ga.), Skyler Vaden (Los Angeles, Calif.).
