JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - 8/26/2011 - The Union (Tenn.) University volleyball team won their first match of the season, before falling in the second match of the day in the Milligan (Tenn.) College Classic. Union topped Bryan (Tenn.) 3-1 (25-21, 25-13, 20-25, 25-18) and then fell to Columbia (S.C.) 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 15-25, 25-12). Union is 1-1 on the season.
Union will face Shorter (Ga.) University at 8:00 a.m. central time on Saturday morning and will then play the host school, Milligan at noon.
