Jackson, Tenn. - 5/14/2003 - LaToya Fuller is transferring to Union this fall to continue her college basketball career. Fuller, a 5-foot-7 guard, played her freshman season at Jackson State and will enter Union as a sophomore in the fall. She played her high school basketball for Jackson Central Merry.

During her freshman year at Jackson State, Fuller averaged 18.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.9 steals per game. She shot 56% from the field and 75% from the free throw line.

Union’s head coach Mark Campbell says of Fuller, “We are really excited about LaToya (Fuller) coming to Union. Her athleticism and her ability to score will give us what we have been looking for.”

Fuller joins a long list of transfers to the Lady Bulldog squad next year. Stephanie Clark (ORU), Molly York (Tenn. TECH), Christina Smith (UAB), and Tiffany Fisher (MTSU) are the other transfers on Union’s roster for the 2003-04 season.
