Collierville Soccer Player Signs with Union

Jackson, Tenn. - 5/30/2003 - Ross Wilson of Collierville, Tennessee is the latest soccer player to sign with the Union University Bulldogs. Wilson will join Union this fall as a freshman.

Wilson played three seasons at Collierville High School at the sweeper position. He helped Collierville win the district and region championships in 2002. In 2000, Wilson played with the Germantown United that finished second in the state. As a junior in 2002, he was named Defensive MVP, all-metro, and Best of the Preps. As a senior, Wilson was selected as the varsity team captain. In high school, he blocked over 50 shots. In his senior season, he help Collierville defeat Houston High School for the first time in school history. Wilson was also named as a Who’s Who in 2002.
