Union women’s soccer places five on NAIA scholar list

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 12/5/2011 - The Union University women’s soccer team has placed five players on the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete list. Natalie Stallings, Christina Brimm, Steffi King, Whitney Kramer and Terilyn Wassell each earned the honor.

To be named an NAIA Scholar Athlete, a student athlete must be a junior or senior with at least a 3.5 GPA.

Wassell, a senior from the Philippines, earns the honor for the second time. Stallings is a junior from South Korea, Brimm is a junior from Gallatin, Tenn., King is a junior from Germantown, Tenn., and Kramer is a junior from Germantown, Tenn.

All of these players were named TranSouth Scholar Athletes this season, while King was also named to the Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District.
