JCM Golfer Signs with Union University

Jackson, Tenn. - 8/13/2003 - Jordan Perry, a graduate of Jackson Central-Merry High School, has signed to play college golf for Union University. Perry will enter Union this fall as a freshman and will be majoring in Engineering.

Perry graduated from JCM last spring after playing four seasons of golf under head coach Barry Tignor. Perry is 6-foot and 150 lbs and spends most of his time on the golf course. Union’s head coach Don Morris says of Perry, “He has great potential and we look for great things out of Jordan in the years to come.”

Union will work to become an NAIA power once again and try for their 10th conference championship and 10th national tournament appearance under Coach Morris. Union will open their fall golf schedule in Memphis on September 8 and 9 at the Rhodes College/Christian Brothers University Fall Invitational. The Bulldogs will be playing at the Colonial Country Club, south course.
