Up next for Union is the TranSouth Conference Tournament in which they will be in a most familiar spot in both the No. 1 position and at home at Union's Fesmire Field. Union has won four of the past five TranSouth Conference Tournaments. The tournament will begin on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with #3 Martin Methodist playing #6 Cumberland. The 12:00 noon game will feature #4 Trevecca Nazarene versus #5 Freed-Hardeman. In the 3:00 p.m. game, #2 Lee will await the winner of the the Martin Methodist/Cumberland winnner. Union will play the final game of the day at 5:00 p.m. versus the winner of the Trevecca Nazarene/Freed-Hardeman game.
Union's head coach Brian Dunn calls this "the most even group of teams the conference has ever had."
