MEMPHIS, Tenn. - 9/13/2004 - The Union University men’s and women’s cross country teams each made strong efforts in the Memphis Twilight Cross Country Classic on Saturday.
The Bulldogs finished in eleventh place over all divisions and first place among NAIA school. Harding University (Ark.) won the event with a total time of 1:40:03.23. The Union men’s total time in the four mile run was 1:52:55.82.

For the Lady Bulldogs, they earned a 10th place finish overall and also finished first among NAIA school. The Union Lady’s total time was 1:39:00.80 over the three mile course. Mississippi State University won the women’s event with a time of 1:28:42.80.
