JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/10/2004 - The Union University Lady Bulldog volleyball team continues to rack up the honors following their historic run to the NAIA National Tournament. The NAIA has named Gladys Wandera as a first team All-American performer, while teammate Phylis Anyango has been named an honorable mentioned All-American. In addition, Union head coach Brian Dunn was named the region coach of the Year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).

For Wandera, this honor comes on the heels of her NAIA Region XI Player of the Year honor and All-Region selection.
