Millington Standout Signs with Union Baseball

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/28/2005 - Millington High School pitcher Zane Adams has signed to play his college baseball for the Union University Bulldogs. Zane will graduate from Millington this spring and will enter Union in the fall as an Athletic Training major.

Adams, a 6-foot-4 right hander, has played four seasons on both the baseball and football teams at Millington High School. In baseball, he was named All-District and was also named as one of the Top 25 Shelby-Metro athletes as both a sophomore and junior. In football, he was named All-Region, All-State, and served as the team captain during his career. Last season, Adams recorded 53 strikeouts and posted an ERA of 2.20.
