Among those returning is the teams leading scorer in senior Corey Burkett. Also returning are juniors Marcus Cooper, Pierry Valmera, and Ben Frederick. Four players are joining this year’s team, three by way of the transfer. Mack Bealim, Kinley Sellers, and Dewayne Lee will make this year’s team much more athletic that last season's just by stepping on the floor. Freshman and former JCS standout Alan North will give Union a real three-point threat. The TranSouth Athletic Conference men’s basketball coaches have unanimously selected Union University as the preseason favorite for the upcoming 2005-06 basketball season.
