Union Volleyball Gets 20th Win of Season

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/14/2006 - In just their 24th contest of the season, the Union University Lady Bulldog volleyball team notched their 20th win of the season by defeated the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) 3-0 (32-30, 30-20, 30-23). Union moves to 20-4 on the season while the Cumberlands fall to 14-12 on the season.

Last season, first year head coach Steven Gream started his coaching career having to field a team with only two returning players. Up next for Union will be a conference match with crosstown rival Lambuth on Monday, October 16 at 7:00 pm at Lambuth. Union will then play a conference match versus Bethel College (Tenn.) on Tuesday, October 17 at 3:00 pm at Union, with a non-conference match versus Williams Baptist College (Ark.) at 7:00 pm at Union on the same day.
