JACKSON, Tenn. - 5/24/2007 - The Union University Lady Bulldog soccer team has signed another player for the upcoming season. Jamie Haynes, a standout player form Habersham, Georgia, will enter Union this fall as a freshman and will major in either Business Law or Sports Medicine.

Haynes is excited about her future at Union. "It's a Christian school and a high academic school." Haynes adds that, "It's a young program (3rd year of varsity competition) and I have a chance to be involved in helping build it where it's a well-known program."

Haynes again led the team in goals as a junior and was named the Best Offensive Player for the third straight season. After a senior year in which she was named Team Captain, Haynes finished her career with a school record 70 goals in her four years.
