Parsons Standout Joins Union Baseball Team

JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/7/2007 - Ross Garrett, of Parsons, Tennessee, has signed to play his college baseball for the Bulldogs of Union University. Garrett will enter Union this fall as a freshman and will major in Business Management.

Garrett, a 6-foot-3 235 lb. pitcher, prepped at Riverside High School in Parsons where he played baseball, football, and basketball. Garrett was named All-District in baseball as a sophomore, junior, and senior. He also made the All-District team in football as a junior. Garrett set school records for most strikeouts in a season (119), most strikeouts in a game (17), and most strikeouts in a career (294).

Garrett is the son of Kevin and Lisa Garrett of Parsons.
