Collierville Women's Soccer Standout Signs with Union

JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/25/2007 - The Union University Lady Bulldog soccer program, now entering their third varsity season, add Eboni Murphy to the 2007 team. Murphy will join Union this fall as a freshman.

Murphy, a 5-foot-7 forward, prepped at Collierville (Tenn.) High School where she played four years of soccer. She was a member of the 2005 Collierville team that won the Tennessee State Title and also finished runner-up in 2006. Murphy was named MVP in 2003 and was voted Most Improved in 2005 as she helped lead her team to the state title. “We are pleased to add Eboni's speed and athleticism to our squad. She has had great coaching both at the high school and club level. Eboni has won at every level she has played and we look forward to her bringing that tough, winning attitude to our team,” states Boylan.
