Chris is a transfer from Jackson State CC and will catch this seaosn for Union...when not behind the plate, Chris will be in the lineup in some form because of his great baseball tallent...a "hard nose" player that was our #1 recruting priority...is fully healthy comming off surgery this fall...expected to provide fire and leadership.
Before Union: Chris went to Christian Brother HS where he played baseball, football, and was a member of the wrestling team...hold HS baseball records for most triples and doubles, and is second in school history in career homeruns...help win back-to-back state baseball championships (2000 & 2001)...went to the Univ. of Memphis as a freshman then transferred to Jackson State CC where he hit.360 with 5 HR and 22 doubles...named All-Conference at Jackson State.
