• Before Union: Adams was a two-sport athlete at Millington High School were he played baseball and football. In baseball, he was named All-District, as well as, a Top 25 Shelby-Metro player. He posted a 3-6 record with a 2.20 ERA and 53 strikeouts. Adams also hit .247. In football, he was named All-Region and All-State as a linebacker while being named the Team Captain at Millington. Off the field, Adams was a National Honor Roll student.
