Hobbies: church activities, hunting, 4-wheeler riding, swimming, and shopping
Before Union: Chism was the salutatorian at Central Hinds Academy. She also received the the Clarion Ledger All-Star Senior Award and the Presidents Award for Educational Excellence. Chism was a member of the National Honor Society, Deans List at Hinds Community College, Headmaster List at Central Hinds Academy, and Student Council.
