Before Union: Neufeld prepped at Hunters Lane High School in Nashville where he was a four-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, cross country, and football. In soccer, Neufeld was named All-District as a senior. He also helped lead his basketball team to two District Championships (2003, 2005). Neufield was a member of the Honors Society and was the President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
