Before Union: Musgrove prepped at Battle Ground (Tenn.) Academy where he played four seasons of soccer. Musgrove was selected as team captain for his high school team, as well as, his club team. As a goalkeeper in high school, he posted a 1.00 goals against average. During his time with the Tennessee Futbol Club, Musgrove posted a goals against average of less than one.
