• Before Union: Hollingsworth prepped at Munford High School were he played baseball, basketball, and ran cross country. He helped lead his high school baseball team to a third place finish in the Tennessee State Tournament in 2004. Hollingsworth also led his summer league team to a USSSA State Title in 2003 and a runner-up finish in 2002. The 2003 team also finished seventh in the USSSA World Series. Hollingsworth struck out 17 hitters in one game during that World Series. He was named MVP in baseball, as well as, being selected to the Invitational League two years. In basketball, Hollingsworth was named Best Offensive Player. In the classroom, Hollingsworth experience success as well, being named to the National Honor Society, the Honor Roll every year, and graduating seventh in his class.
