Hobbies: horseback riding, outdoors, and sports in general
Before Union: Givens comes to Union from Franklin Road Academy where she played two seasons of volleyball. She also ran track and was a member of the bowling team for one year. During her freshman and sophomore seasons in high school, Givens played volleyball and ran track at Unicoi County High School. Givens also helped lead her traveling volleyball team, the Cobra Jrs, to the 2005 Silver Division Title. In volleyball, she was named All-District, All-Conference, and All-Tournament as a sophomore. Following her senior year, she was named All-District.
