Before Union: Marroquin prepped at Verbo Christian School where he played four seasons of soccer. During his junior year, Marroquin was named Athlete of the Year at Verbo Christian School. Marroquin was also a member of the Verbo Schools National soccer team his junior and senior years. Marroquin excelled off the field as well, where he graduated with honors.
