Before Union: Seaton prepped at Ripley High School where he played baseball and football, starting all four years in baseball. Following his junior season, Seaton was named All-State, All-District, and All-Region. Seaton his .375 with 35 RBI, two homeruns, and 22 stolen bases. On the mound, he posted a 3-3 record with four saves and a 2.06 ERA. In football, Seaton was the 2008 Team Captain, defensive MVP, and All-Region, while leading the team in tackles and interceptions.
