• Before Union: Black prepped at the University School of Jackson where she cheered for four seasons. She was also a member of the Southern Extreme All-Stars for three seasons. Black competed at the UCA Nationals for four years. She helped her team to a 3rd place at the TSSAA State Competition as a freshman. Her team were named camp champs in her junior and senior seasons at the UCA Cheer Camp. Black's Southern Extreme team won the national championship as a freshman and sophomore. Black was a member of the National Art Honors Society.
