Coach’s Comments. Corey "C.O." is a complete player. We recruited him because of his proven ability to score. C.O. gives us a strong, athletic player that can play any one of our three guard positions.

Union Career. (‘04-’05) First Bulldog Season.

Before Union. Burkett played high school basketball and football for Dothan High School in Dothan, Alabama. He holds two Dothan records, 10 three-pointers made in a game and highest free-throw percentage at .980. After high school, Burkett took his talents to Wallace State Community College-Hanceville where he was named to the 2003-04 All-Star team and All-Region team.
