2009-10 Bulldog Basketball Player Profile

#20 Stan McNeil
JR, 6-1, 160
Hometown: Memphis, Tenn.
Previous School: Jackson State CC

Stanley is a newcomer that I expect to have an immediate impact on our team. Although he has a quiet and reserved spirit, you cannot overlook him on the basketball court. Stanley led the state of Tennessee in three point shooting last year at Jackson State. He is a very hard worker and has improved his game going off the dribble immensely since he signed with us last spring. Stanley will be one of the toughest guys to cover on our team on any given night.

Before Union: McNeil has spent two seasons playing basketball at Jackson State Community College. He played his high school basketball at Treadwell High School in Memphis. McNeil averaged 20 points, three assists, and two steals per game at Jackson State. He led the region with 89 made three pointers as a sophomore, while setting a Jackson State record with 104 made three pointers as a freshman. He was selected as a first team All-Conference and All-Region performer as a sophomore. McNeil was also selected as a 2008-09 Pre-Season NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American.
