Leah had a stellar freshman season and has proven she can pitch at the highest level…will join with Murray to complete Union’s All-American one-two punch from the mound…Leah, as a freshman, was named to the NAIA second team All-American, NCCAA first team All-American, first team All-Region, and first team All-Conference…won 29 games last season and ranked No. 12 in the NAIA with a 0.94 ERA. Prepped at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, TX where she played softball and basketball… three-time All-district softball from 1998 - 2000; District MVP in 1998…three-time A&M Consolidated softball MVP from 1998 - 2000…All-Brazos Valley softball (1998,99,2000); All-District basketball (1999,2000); A&M Consolidated Basketball Defensive Player of the Year (1999,2000); All-State Academic (basketball 1999, softball 2000).
