Before Union: Sisson prepped at South Fulton High School where she played four seasons of softball and basketball. As a senior she was named team captain and was a four-time all-district honoree. As a senior she played in the Jackson All-Star Game and hit .350. As a junior she was named to the all-state team and had a batting average of .400. Off the field, Sisson was named Valedictorian and graduated with honors. She was a member of the Beta Club and received the American Legion Award.
