Power and Promise of the Word Conference is Huge Success

April 120, 2003 - Over 100 people attended the opening banquet of the Ryan Center for Biblical Studies' first bi-annual conference. The conference, April 3-5, included such world-class scholars as Dr. Grant Osborne and Dr. Daniel Block. Memphis pastor Sandy Wilson and Beeson Divinity School Professor Robert Smith, Jr. delivered inspiring sermons during the conference. Union's own Dr. George Guthrie delivered a series of lectures designed to introduce the many tools and resources for Biblical studies.
