Conference Registration Nearing 250
March 89, 2005 - Nearly 250 people have registered to attend the Ryan Center's upcoming conference entitled "For All Its Worth." The conference will feature New Testament scholar Dr. Gordon Fee and Christian recording artist Michael Card.
This is the second conference sponsored by the Ryan Center. Two years ago the "Power & Promise of the Word" conference brought in just over 100 registrants.
Churches from as far away as Chattanooga and Columbus, Mississippi are bringing large groups of their members to attend the two-day conference this year. Also, the Explorers Bible Study organization is holding its annual national convention in Jackson so that they can attend the conference as well.
"We are delighted that so many people will be able to benefit from the work of the Ryan Center," said Center director, Dr. Ray Van Neste. "One of the Center's key purposes is to aid area churches in training people to better understand the Bible. This conference will help us greatly in pursuing that goal."
It is not too late to register for the conference. If you are still interested please act quickly by calling (731) 661-5579 or by applying online at the web address below.
